BioBase
BioBase (part of our C-MAP brand) is a subscription-based tool that provides aquatic vegetation and coastal habitat maps to support marine conservation. It is designed for aquatic biologists, government agencies and researchers to implement long term monitoring programs related to current and historical vegetation densities, bottom hardness and other water quality characteristics.
BioBase takes sonar logs from echosounders, data from satellite images, and creates emergent vegetation and coastal habitat maps.
